Studio Policies
Lessons are in my home studio.
Lessons lasting 30 minutes at a time, once weekly are a flat rate of 100.00 per month.
You can get up to 5 lessons per month for no extra charge if there are 5 weeks in the month.
Siblings and other family members get a discount at 90.00 per month.
Longer lessons of 45 minutes or 1 hour are available. More can be accomplished with longer lessons.
45 minutes would be 150.00 per month. 1 hour would be 200.00 per month. Siblings and other family members get a discount at these rates too.
Students are required to take lessons during the summer months:
48 lessons per year are required which adds up to 4 lessons per month. Basically this means tuition is due at the beginning of
each month in order to hold your time slot schedule.
All sick days and holidays must be me made up to fulfill this 48 lessson annual minimum by the end of the year, or they will be dropped without refund unless there is a special request to extend the deadline for make-ups to be fulfilled.
SICK POLICY: If your child is sick, please don't send them to class if they are coughing, sneezing, have a sore throat,
and are contagious. Call or text me to reschedule.
Parents will be called to pick up students early if they are sent to class sick. This includes reactions to vaccines and booster shots of all kinds including flu as the pathogens from these treatments shed for many days afterwards and are contagious to others who are in proximity.
New books that I purchase for you will be added onto the monthly email statement.
Tuition is due the first week of the month.
Late payments will have a $5. fee added on.
Fees associated with Recitals, group lessons/ensembles, Theory tests, Festivals, Competitions, etc. will be added onto the monthly email statement.
You can pay with check, cash, or credit card through this website.
One month in advance notice required to quit piano lessons.
